 1985

 

The foundation of the successful group of companies known today as the IuT Group was laid by Reinhard Göschl in 1985, when he started his first engineering consultancy. At that time, he already boasted ten years of experience in the industry. He had been working in a variety of fields ranging from pipeline construction in Kuwait to waste air purification systems in various countries and the construction of hazardous waste incineration plants in the Czech Republic and in Russia.

Know-how gained in developing the source-separated waste collection in Ravensburg, Germany was used by Reinhard Göschl in launching the first source-separated waste collection system in Austria: the “Green Bin“ system in the district of Neunkirchen. This source-separated waste collection system is still operating today.

 

1989

 

In 1989 he renamed his consultancy Innovative Umwelttechnik GmbH and set up subsidiaries in the Czech Republic, Germany, France, Canada, and South Korea. The company carried out complex projects involving the erection of waste management facilities world-wide. Reinhard Göschl and his staff of about 60 employees realised more than 80 sorting and treatment plants, about 20 composting plants and various landfill rehabilitation projects. Site investigations, link-ups to utilities and waste disposal systems, permitting procedures and co-ordination with local partners and businesses constituted an integral part of all projects.

 

2001 - 2003

 

To ensure a sound basis for the increasingly rapid expansion of the business, Reinhard Göschl in 2001 sold his interests in the business to a subsidiary of VKW Vorarlberger Kraftwerke AG. In 2002 Reinhard Göschl left the Company, in 2003 the Seebenstein office was closed. Following this, he started Innovation und Technik GmbH & CoKG on 1

 

2004

 

April 2004, hiring most of the old company’s staff for the new firm. Through the acquisition of strategic holdings and the launching of new businesses an international network of companies was created, which today offers, builds and operates waste management projects on an international scale. These subsidiaries and associated firms are linked by advanced information technology and partner with local firms in developing innovative solutions.
