The following projects are currently being realised:

• Since 2008 EET operates a sorting plant in Al Ain/UAE handling 1200 tons of household waste per day. Tis plant was erectet by the IuT GmbH. Operation of the old composting plant has also been taken over and integrated into the facility concept.

• Test operation of a 300-tons-per-day organic waste digestion plant in Singapore based on the ADOS system.  

• In October 2007, the foundation was laid for another digestion plant working according to the same principle in Benesov/Czech Republic. The plant went into operation in spring 2009.

• In October 2007, work started on the conversion of the digestion plant based in Mimon/Czech Republic to adapt it to ADOS technology.

• In landfill technology, The IuT Group designs and builds the extension to Cell 1a of the Sajja Landfill in Sharjah, UAE. It has the capacity to take up 1.3 million cubic metres of waste.

• Since 1 January 2005, site reclamation work has been progressing on the City of Sharjah’s old landfill. The world-wide largest site reclamation project (6.4mn m³) is scheduled for completion by the end of 2009.

• Ventilation of the Rive Nord landfill in Quebec, Canada by the IuT Group using the SMELL-WELL system was completed in 2008 after one year of operation. A total of 400,000 m3 of material buried in the landfill has been ventilated and excavated. Following completion of this contract, the IuT Group supplied to the client and installed a new SMELL-WELL system, which the client is now planning to operate over a period of about 10 years.
